Helping Our Children Confess

Here's an excerpt from a Doorposts article entitled, "Helping Our Children Confess." It was a timely reminder after last Sunday's lesson on Joshua and Achan.

“Give glory to God.” This is all about God and His glory.
“Confess to Him.” He’s the one you’ve sinned against.
“Tell me what you have done.” I’m ready to listen.
“Don’t hide it from me.” God already knows.

“Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted”
